SABER E-platform
SABER E-platform is a mandatory importer-based computer E-platform facilitating online certification of imports into Saudi Arabia. The long-term plan is for SABER to become the only system for clearing goods through Saudi customs and replace the SASO COC. All shipments arriving into Saudi Arabia will require a Product Certificate of Conformity and a Shipment Certificate to be issued through SABER. Targeted Products? All the client products approved by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organizations that are sold in the Saudi Market, either imported or locally manufactured.

Steps of Application:
- The importer needs to set up their own account and add all of the products on the E-platform they wish to import.
- The importer needs to apply for product certificates and approval (these are valid for a year).
- The importer needs to upload invoice and apply for shipment certificate (COC).
